Haneul didn’t
know what time it was. She stood on the funeral hall beside her Dad photo who
smiled widely which she knew she would never have had the chance to see it
again. There was no tear anymore since she stood there ages ago and bowed to
the guests every time her Dad’s friends and some of her college friends came to
give the last gratitude with a slight smile. There was one thing had disturbed
her all day, the fact that Yoon Dujun wasn’t here yet. Although, his group
mates were all already here, first, Son Dongwoon who had been a great dongsaeng for Haneul, then Yang Yoseob
who was in particular close enough to her, and Yong Junhyung who liked to
chatter a lot but today he was quite less noisy and looked gloomy made Haneul
feel bad too. Kikwang too, who liked to smile a lot today he looked sad. The
last was Jang Hyunseung who was rather quite but funny boy, and the least close
to her, but today was the exception because Haneul saw for the first time the
boy smiled precisely only for her while saying: “Bad things will always come to
an end. Be strong.” Haneul looked up at him and smiled with her teary eyes and
muttered “Thank you” with a touched heart. Before Hyunseung left her alone, he
even patted her shoulder. Haneul shook her head and smiled toward him before
facing the other guests who came to meet
Dad non-stop.
Dongwoon
came to her when there was no any guest. Haneul didn’t even realize that the
BEAST boys were all here the whole time. She was close to them because she kept
seeing them in their free time. To make it easy, BEAST was the only friends
Haneul kept close as friends. “Nuna…,”
whispered Dongwoon to Haneul who looked to the floor blankly. There was no reaction
from Haneul that made Dongwoon held both side of Haneul’s body, shook it.
Haneul who reckoned someone shook her body gazed him. “Nuna… come… time to take
a rest…,” Dongwoon helped Haneul to stand up, “your mother and your sister…,”
he turned his head to search for those only relatives Haneul had, “not here?”
he hissed, “they are too much.”
