[MV REVIEW] JONGKOOK'S 'MEN ARE ALL LIKE THAT': GET BORED EASILY?

Ugh, my bad! My bad! I have forgotten to watch and listen to Kim Jong Kook's new MV, Men are All Like That. I have just finished watching it, and getting tearful. I can feel the song in me. It's like I saw my reflection, my whole life reflection, my current condition and all woman's problem in this world is just because MEN ARE ALL LIKE THAT, ALL THE SAME. If you gonna shut my mouth by saying that 'no, my man is differ' just palm your face! During all this time, I learn this one, man gets bored easily. This is what Kim Jong Kook in this MV wants to deliver. Yes, actually yes! The lyric syncs very well with the MV. There won't be this kind of lyric if its not happening in real life. If you keep insisting that your man or whoever man you know never did like what this MV describes, I can guarantee you just denying truth. Even women are all the same, not about being bored easily, but being silly, and returned to the place they shouldn't come back to.

Well, it seems I am on fire. But, actually my heart hurts just by watching this MV, how nice this MV delivers that sort kind of thing. Especially when Song Joong Ki oppa appeared on my laptop screen I almost yelled. But, it all changed when I saw his tired eyes and when the girl opened her eyes and walked approaching him. Joong Ki oppa completely ignored her, and the dark room became a bright one along with the flashback that rushed to him. These flashback were divided into three parts: the little Joong Ki, the young (teenage) Joong Ki, and the mature Joong Ki.

Nah, in this three sections flashback, we are gonna get the meaning of this song, about MEN ARE ALL LIKE THAT:

Firstly, the little Joong Ki sat on the floor played with his robot. He looked so happy while playing it. The mature Joong Ki smiled at his old memory. Then the lit Joong Ki got bored with the robot, he sat on the chair stared at it with boredom. He abandoned the robot while sitting in the stairs too. Now, the robot completely not interesting in his eyes anymore. And when a hand (which probably his father's) gave him a new toy, an airplane figure, he smiled and felt happy because he got new toy to be played. Tsk, LIT BOYS ARE ALL LIKE THAT.

Secondly, the teenage Joong Ki who was amazed by a guitar. At first he looked valued the guitar most. But time after time he got bored too. He laid on the bed and abandoned the guitar by standing it in the wall. Tsk, TEENAGE BOYS ARE ALL LIKE THAT.

Thirdly, the mature Joong Ki appeared when the lights got dim, and there he played with a camera. He treasured it with his heart. But, then he changed it into the new one. Then he took the picture... of a girl who came to his life. At first, he loved her so much, smiling happily while she hugged him. But then the camera zoomed on the smiling Joong Ki, and it changed to the dim light, and his smile changed became the sore one while the camera zoomed out, revealed that the girl put her head on his lap. Joong Ki coldly didn't care.

Fourthly, the flashback began slightly from the lit boy to the teenage boy, and the mature one. What a nice flashback when he hugged, kissed, sat, and talked to the girl in his white shirt. But, it changed in any minute when he already in his suits, on the phone, and stopped holding the girl. Joong Ki completely ignored her. Especially when he was on his table to work, the girl just sat on the chair beside him, revealing that she was loyal, waiting for him. But, actually she had been all alone, there was no her man on her side anymore although they were still sharing the same room.

Women... are all like that.... She knew that her man would have flown away from her, but she still hoped that he would return to her. There's no nothing special too for women.

Just like the robot, the guitar, and the camera, this girl was no longer in the man's heart. The girl, along with all those memories: robot, guitar, and camera were still there, in the same room, but all have changed because there was no Joong Ki who valued her. All of those would have been the same for the fool who is always back to the same spot, while it would have been completely different for the one who abandons and gets bored of. Exactly, the girl is the fool one, Joong Ki is the jerk. But, let me show you something interesting in this MV: the suit which is worn by Joong Ki and the white dress (that never once being changed) worn by the girl. When Joong Ki appeared in suit, it shows to us that he has been burdened by reality, while he can't stay the same, though he wants but he just can't handle it. He slowly changes... men are all like that.... While the girl still wears the white dress til the end of the MV, shows to us that she never changes... women are like that... the shadow of men. Whatever happened to them, they just shut up, and remind silent in their man's side.

If you can't accept what I talk about this 'men are all like that' or 'women are all like that' probably your life haven't reached what I have reached. Life is cruel indeed. The one belongs to you is not really the one you know best, probably he just like the same with other people out there, he is also nothing special.

Idky I feel so sentimental writing this review, maybe because the song just banged my head hard! Good job for our Sparta Oppa, Jong Kookie ^^.
