2AM is back. Finally. I love this song! Kyaaak. You name the title please! Yes, it is 'One Spring Day'. As all Kpop fans know that 2AM is the God of ballad, this time around too their song is so much ballad which is soft, light, and beautiful. The MV too is cute although it is full of sadness.
This MV is just so simple but the story line can be shown clearly. Seulong oppa is in charge of the male lead in this MV along with the girl (honestly I don't know who she is and I am way too lazy to search for her, so ignore it, please). Next, Seulong oppa will be called the man, okay? The first scene appears in screen is the man walking in a corridor which has many doors. But, strangely with his vision, we can see that the doors have only one room number which is 0228. Ehm well, then, the man opens the first door, he sees him and his girlfriend who seems angry and folds her clothes, packs them to her luggage. It seems they have fought before. He closes the door sadly, and opens the next door. There he sees his girlfriend and they hug each other, everything is okay, he even gives her a statue which looks like the girl. To make it short, after for awhile opening all the doors, many things happen between them. They have a quarrel, cry, and start to not see each other.
What's with those doors and rooms? What are they exactly? They are indeed the man's memories with the girls. The places where they used to love each other, have a fight, cry, and so on. From the man's facial expression it can be seen that they are no longer together because he looks hollow and doesn't even smile. Either he still set his heart for her, or he just can't easily move on.
But, why is the title 'One Spring Day'? Why Spring? Spring is the season when you can see the plants grow, the flowers blossom, and the weather is so nice. Spring somehow has symbolized a new start or a new life. For this MV, it's like 'good bye' for the old days (with the girl) and 'hello' for the new days (without the girl). Although it's hard, but still, he must continue his life.
I love their song (I didn't really into their previous comeback songs). Their voices blend very well. There is not so many high note (for their last songs wow no joke they probably can even hit the heaven sky, no, I am just kidding). Jokwon's voice too in here is like getting friendly, usually when I heard 2AM's song, I always can feel he dominates throughout the song. For me I like this part 'gwenchana gwenchana' which is Jokwon's part. Haha. Heol.
After all, 2AM, congratulation for the comeback! I hope you succeed this time around!
