[FF] 비스트 의 하늘 / THE BEAST'S SKY: The Falling Sky

This night was the gloomiest one. The darkness came along with the wild win that swooshed the trees which stood in front of a big house. The owner of the house was not around. There left a Madam and her daughter who were pretending and acting to be the real owners while a girl in her room waiting for the real master got home. The real master was none other than her Dad. The girl sat on the bang of the window, watched the moon which seemed looking back at her, shared the pity. Her Dad had married again –months ago her Mom had passed away– with a beautiful woman who brought a daughter whom she thought as awful one. Since the first day after the marriage, she had suffered a lot because of the new Mom and her beloved daughter asked her to run errand every time they saw a chance. She couldn’t get rid of them because Dad was not at home. He was away because of some overseas business.
Dad owned a big company which worked on entertainment industry. It was a lot like an agency. He had been a CEO for a long time. Many artists who were under his company had succeeded and decided to get their own ways in the industry. On the other hand, Dad would always have new stocks of young trainees who came to get the chance to practice under his company and dreamed big to be born as the next stars. Korea of course was very well known with its Idols and the never stopping production of new dancing machine idols, new impersonating idols, new powerful main vocal idols, new great rapping idols, etc. Dad would have never gotten bankrupt. She knew very well the reason that woman seduced and luckily got married to her Dad was none other than Dad’s bank accounts. Well, materialized by capitalist society, people now. Weren’t they? The girl left a big sigh before finally realizing there was a couple of eyes watched her over the gate of the front yard.
“Who is that?” She asked in a low voice. She could see a shadow-figure-like moved fast to the one of the tree on the side of the road and raised the hands. The girl tried to get better vision because there was no lamp shone on that figure. “Dujunie?” The girl smiled by herself. Her eyes widened when reckoned who the owner of those couple of eyes was. She walked faster to the door that linked her room with the porch and ran to the stairs which could bring her to the yard in no time. Walked through the green grass her Dad loved to water it every evening and opened the gate in a flash light speed, she got to the man’s embrace in second.
“How are you?” The man whose name was Dujun asked the girl while caressed her hair smoothly. “I am sorry I couldn’t contact you anyway. We were very busy in Japan, you know, concert, and so on.” He sighed. “Was your Dad home already?” He continued, eyed the girl’s home over her hair which played by the wind.
The girl shook her head. “Dad hasn’t been home. Why?” She asked, pulled herself from the man’s embrace. “Did something come up?” She continued to ask Dujun out of curiosity. “Tell me!” Dujun looked at the girl and chuckled hearing the demand words from her. “Why?” The girl asked once again while Dujun dragged her hand and brought her to the bench under the tree where she would usually sit and read some books.
“There’s nothing important.” He said, “What did make you worry like this? CEO will be okay. He just needs something to do, I bet.” He smiled. “Are your step mom and sister doing well?” The girl eyed Dujun. “Why did you look at me like that? Is there something on my face?” He touched his face hoping to find something weird.
“No.” The girl replied. “I just reckon you haven’t called my name.” She hissed. “But, forget that.” She chuckled while waved her right hand. “Aren’t you tired? Why are you rushing to get here?” She frowned. “Oh, and Mom and Sister are doing very well. I have been like their servant this week.” The girl couldn’t help but laughed. “Good, eh.” She nodded by herself.
“What good. You’ve been tired, haven’t you–,” Dujun touched her hand “Haneul?” The girl looked at him once when heard her name being called by her man. “I miss you a lot.” He said. “I feel sorry for not being able to be on your side every time.” He frowned. “You know my job is–,”
“Ssh.” Haneul hissed. “I knew it already you do not need to elaborate it again, every time you think you can, Dujun.” She raised her head, saw the moon. “Just like the moon bound to the sky, your sky would always been near you all the time.” Haneul smiled. “Ahh, I miss you too, a lot.” She once again hugged Dujun while took a deep breath to the scent of the man’s perfume.
---
Haneul wasn’t really conscious enough when she actually shut her eyes to get the deep slumber. After chatting with Dujun for less than an hour, she heard her step Mom called her and asked her to turn off her room’s lamp. Of course she didn’t have any clue that Haneul was actually out with Dujun. Both of the youths hissed and chuckled and decided to get apart before the witch realized what happened behind her back. Haneul waved her hands to Dujun who walked down the neighborhood hill. He waved his hands too while muttering from his mouth “Good bye” and “See you tomorrow” made Haneul nod in sync. Once Dujun had gone at the corner, she walked fast to the gate, crossed the yard and went to her room without any single noise. She turned off the lamp before lying on her bed and smiled by herself recalling the scent of Dujun’s perfume that she had been longing for almost a month and there she fell to sleep.
“Miss Haneul…,” There was a voice which made Haneul open her eyes widely, her butler’s.
Ahjussi?” Haneul looked at her butler’s face which had gone pale. “What happened? Had something bothered you?” She asked. “What is it? What actually happened?” She sat on her bed, demanded an answer from the old man whose eyes eyed the floor. “Ahjussi, what is it–,”
“Master…,” He sobbed “Master… –,”
“What happen with Dad?” Haneul gripped both sides of the old man. “Tell me! What happened?”
“Your Dad had died.” Another voice coldly got her an answer. It was so high pitched made Haneul blankly looked at the owner of the voice with disbelief look. “I am not lying, Park Haneul.” The middle age woman started to smile from the corner of her lips.
Haneul saw it and tears started to drop in the corner of her eyes. She blinked her eyes, gazed the woman. “You are liar! How come… how come –,” She sobbed and got no any idea what she should say or feel, it was numb, her heart was numb “how come Dad –,” she washed away her tears with her palms “what happened –,” standing on her feet, Haneul pointed to the old butler and her step mother, “Both of you lie to me!”
“Miss…,” The butler tried to calm Haneul down. “The plane Master ride had an accident and it crashed on the ground.” He explained, hoped his young master could understand the situation. “You need to calm yourself, Miss. Many things will happen today.” He ended.
Haneul fell to the floor, tears flooded her eyes, and her head faced her laps. She felt like the sky had already fallen toward her. It was the end of her life. She burst to tears. No one could stop her, not even the step mother who looked at her irritated. She left the girl with a nasty smile decorated her witch-like-face.
That day the home’s Master had already gone, left Haneul alone there with a couple of unrelated blood people. Here the story of the Beauty and the Beast began….

p.s. I am sorry for those who read my previous fan fiction 'Good Bye to Romance' and currently wait for the continuation of the series, it seems I can't finish it because I have already forgotten the whole plot and the story. I am sincerely sorry. Thus, I recently writing this one, hoping I can update it regularly. I am really sorry. Enjoy the new fan fiction the best I can come out.
Best regard.
